This study examined ICT as predictor’s factor of motivation towards learning in selected
Tertiary Institution in Oyo state, Nigeria. The aim of the study is to improve and promote the
use of ICT tools as the motivating factor in educational sector, in Nigeria. It set out to
improve the educational sector of the country as well as provide a relevant documentation
for policy makers to reduce high failure rate among students. 180 responses were collected
from two tertiary institution, within five department in Ibadan metropolis. The higher
institutions of learning considered includes; Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan and
Federal College of Animal Health & Production Technology, Ibadan. Department that was
randomly selected includes; Agricultural Engineering, Crop Production Technology,
Agricultural Technology, Animal Health & Production and Science Laboratory Technology.
